Create with your AI

Connect your own AI app to Slatfinity and design slatwall parts together. Your AI writes the design, checks it on every wall and shows you pictures of it. Everything it makes is saved to My designs, private to you.

Connect your AI app

Your AI app connects to this address:

Claude on the web and Claude Desktop

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Slatfinity, paste the MCP URL and choose Continue. Keep the suggested sign-in settings and choose Add. If you see one screen with Advanced settings instead, leave them empty and choose Add.
  4. When Slatfinity opens (now, or the first time your AI needs your account), sign in and choose Allow.
  5. In a chat, choose +, then Connectors, and turn Slatfinity on. Then ask for a part, for example “Make a hook for my leaf blower.”

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector first, under Organization settings, then Connectors. You then choose Connect next to it in Customize, then Connectors. A free plan can add one custom connector.

Claude Code

  1. Run claude mcp add --transport http slatfinity https://slatfinity.com/mcp. To use it in every project, run claude mcp add --transport http --scope user slatfinity https://slatfinity.com/mcp instead.
  2. Start Claude Code, run /mcp, choose slatfinity, then Authenticate, and sign in to Slatfinity in the browser window that opens.
  3. Or sign in from your terminal without starting Claude Code: claude mcp login slatfinity.

Other AI apps

Any AI app that connects to remote MCP servers over HTTP can use the same address, if it signs you in through a web page or through your computer's localhost.

What works before you sign in

Without an account, your AI app can read the design rules, the walls and the published designs. Making and checking drafts needs your Slatfinity account. Your AI app asks you to sign in the first time it needs to. A new account can draw 60 pictures and run 300 checks an hour.

Read the connect guide: what your AI app can do, what it costs, and what to do when something goes wrong.

The designer skill

The slatfinity-designer skill teaches your AI app how to design for Slatfinity: the design loop, how one design fits every wall and printer, and the rules. A connected AI app reads it from Slatfinity, so you don't have to install it. To keep it in your AI app anyway, install the zip.
